Cheltenham Festival Organisers Yet To Make Decision On Crowds

It's expected that the festival will take place behind closed doors.

Cheltenham organisers say they will make a final decision on crowds attending this year's festival in the next week or two.

The National Hunt showpiece gets underway ten weeks from today.

The festival was heavily criticised last year as 60 thousand punters attended each day despite the arrival of COVID-19 to British shores.

However, Jockey Club regional director Ian Renton is becoming resigned to this year's festival potentially going ahead behind closed doors.
