The Offaly racer won the title while absent from the final round.
Dunne racked up 11 wins in the Championship, breaking a record set by Lando Norris, which meant if Oliver Gray failed to get pole position at the start of the final round in Brands Hatch the Hi-Tech racer would be crowned champion.
The Clonbullogue teenager is racing in Italy this week, where the final round of the Italian F4 championship is taking place in Mugello.
