Clonkill too good for Castlepollard
Champions Clonkill are through to the quarter-finals of the championship following an impressive 2-20 to 2-10 win against Castlepollard last night.
The Clonkill team manager Kevin O'Brien was happy aftewards but admitted it was a tough test for his side:
On Sunday in the quarter-finals Crookedwood will play Clonkill at 3pm and Delvin will face Castletown Geoghegan at 4.30pm at TEG Cuscak Park in Mullingar.
In the Intermediate Football championship quarter-final replay last night it finished Moate All Whites 0-11 Multyfarnham 0-8.
