Clubs should get GAA action underway says players chief Briody.
The Chairman of the GAA Club players Association Michael Briody has called on the association to prioritise club activity when the covid-19 crisis is over.
Briody was talking ahead of tomorrows' special congress in Croke Park which will discuss the rest of the year with regard to fixtures.
The Meath man says that the great work being done by GAA clubs across the nation during the crisis deserves to be rewarded.
He says that to resume club action would be the sensible way for the GAA to proceed.
Meanwhile the Leitrim senior football team manager Terry Hyland says that he cannot see any matches being played in front of big crowds this year.
Hyland says that unless a vaccine is found for the coronavirus it would not be possible to allow crowds to gather or to allow 30 players into a dressing-room at close quarters.
