Tullamore athlete Danielle Donegan made her debut senior international appearance at the weekend.
The 22 year old from the Tullamore Harriers Athletic Club was competing in the World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Belgrade.
She finished 65th in the senior women's race just two places behind the Irish national senior champion Fiona Everard from Bandon.
The race was dominated by Kenyan athletes who occupied the top five positions, with Beatrice Shebet winning the gold medal for the second year in a row.
