Ladies football and camogie players will not do any media events with the LGFA and Camogie Association for the rest of the Championship.
The players are protesting a lack of progress around player welfare issues as they seek equity with their male counterparts.
The Laois senior footballers play Cavan in a relegation play-off semi-final this weekend while Offaly will take on Down in a senior camogie championship relegation play-off.
Both games will throw in on Saturday, with the Laois game starting at 2pm.
