This race winner from Monaghan club Glaslough Harriers was in dominant form on Sunday.
Over 350 runners descended on Edenderry on Sunday for the Frank Kilrane Edenderry 10 Mile.
It's the second race in the Buildmore Offaly Athletics Endurance Series, following on from the Ashling Murphy Four Mile, and taking place six weeks before the Tullamore half-marathon.
On a tough course, the race winner, Conor Duffy Glaslough Harriers AC clocked a very impressive 50.27, with Eanna O Bradaigh of Dundrum South Dublin AC 2nd in 52.37 and Killian Mooney, also from Dundrum South, 3rd in 53.21.
The top 3 ladies were Heather Murphy, of St Michael’s AC crossing the line in 59.35. Dublin City Harriers AC’ Sorcha McAllister was 2nd in 1.00.37 and Dundrum South’s Sarah Mulligan was 3rd in 1.01.21.
The best midlands finisher in the men's race was Kevin Moore Mullingar Harriers A.C. 0:53:40.
In the ladies race it was Mary Stuart in a time of 1.08.50.
