The Edenderry man's future as Offaly manager was cut short unexpectedly.
Low, unprofessional, and disgusting.
That's how the now former Offaly Ladies Football manager is describing how his departure from the county set-up was handled by the executive.
Greg Farrelly was relieved of his duties as Offaly's intermediate manager after a year and three months into his second spell over the county last week.
Farrelly says he was called into a meeting in O'Connor Park last Tuesday and was told by county executive, in a short meeting, that he was being moved on.
Offaly have endured a poor start to their league campaign, with three heavy defeats in Division Three.
The Edenderry man is pointing to a huge number of players being unavailable for this season's campaign.
He says he's appalled at how the news was released last Thursday:
Offaly LGFA have been contacted for comment but are declining to issue a statement "at this time".
