Huge fixture-list next weekend
There were a number of inter-county fixtures played yesterday with Limerick and Cork the winners in the McGrath Cup (football) against Clare and Kerry respectively.
In the Dr McKenna Cup in Ulster Monaghan beat Derry by six points, Down beat Fermanagh by four and Armagh accounted for Cavan by the same margin.
In the Munster Senior Hurling League Cork beat Waterford by 1-17 to 1-13.
This coming weekend all the All-Ireland club football and hurling semi-finals will be played at senior, intermediate and junior level.
There is also a full round of games in the O'Byrne Cup on Saturday and the Walsh Cup on Sunday with pre-season action in all four provinces in football and hurling.
