The Athlone school finally got their hands on the trophy after some near misses.
Marist College rugby head coach Sam Fogarty says he's proud of his players following their Connacht Schools Senior Cup final win over Sligo Grammar yesterday.
It's the first time in 12 years that the Athlone school have secured the title after getting to three finals over the last four years.
Despite a strong comeback from the Sligo Grammer, Marist were able to hang on to a 33 - 29 victory.
