Portlaoise and Camross won recognition in ladies football and camogie respectively.
Laois GAA “Mochua Print & Design” Award Winners 2023
St Joseph's wing back James Kelly has been crowned Laois senior footballer of the year for the county after helping his club to a first championship in 23 years.
Tomás Keyes picked up senior hurler of the year in the annual awards for Camross.
The Ladies Senior Footballer of the Year is Fiona Dooley of Portlaoise, while Sarah Ann Fitzgerald of Camross picked the intermediate camogie award.
The inter-county players of the year in men's football and hurling were Mark Timmons and Stephen Maher.
With Fiona Scully crowned inter-county camogie player of the year, and Clodagh Dunne getting the ladies football nod.
Midlands 103's Jack Nolan and Pat O'Sullivan worked in conjunction with Laois GAA, Laois Today, Leinster Express, and the Laois Nationalist to select this year's winners.
While the ladies football and the camogie winners were selected by their respective associations.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Midlands Park Hotel on November 24th.
