Laois Hurlers "Warming" To Joe Mac Task Ahead Of Decisive Kerry Meeting

Willie Maher brings his Laois panel down to Tralee on Saturday for a massive game.

The Joe McDonagh Cup is coming in for praise from the Laois Senior Hurling Manager ahead of their crunch meeting with Kerry this weekend.

After relegation from Division One of the National Hurling League the O'Moore County suffered defeat to Offaly in their first round of the competition.

Following that a win against Carlow was lost to a last minute penalty in round three.

Wins against Down and Kildare mean that a win in their last fixture coupled with Offaly beating Carlow will see Laois progress to the final.
