Laois Land Victory In Leinster Under 20s

Offaly were edged out by Wicklow last night.

Laois came back from the brink to win last night in this year’s Eirgrid Leinster under-20 football championship. 

The O'Moore County landed the last five scores of the game as they beat Longford 2-12 to 2-9.

Offaly were pipped by a late Jack Reid point which gave Wicklow a 2-8 to 1-10 victory.

Defending champions Kildare picked up their first win against Wexford on a 0-16 to 0-8 scoreline.

It’s back-to-back wins for Meath in Group 1 after their 2-11 to 0-4 trouncing of Carlow. 

In Group 2, Dublin beat Louth 2-16 to 0-7. 

Westmeath were on a bye-week.
