That’s the message from Laois Hurling Manager Tommy Fitzgerald after his side secured the Joe McDonagh title following their 1-27 to 1-18 victory over Carlow on Saturday.
Cillian Dunne shined with 1-6, with Stephen ‘Picky’ Maher also impressing with 0-9.
Dunne’s 54th minute goal gave his side the incentive to win the game as they outscored their opponents by 0-8 to 0-4 in the final 20 minutes.
Victory marks a return to the Leinster Hurling Championship for 2027.
