Laois SFC: Ballyroan Abbey Claim Quarter-Final Spot

They'll progress thanks to a massive win over Rosenallis over the weekend.

Ballyroan Abbey have secured a place in the quarter finals of the Laois Senior Football Championship.

They secured a massive victory over Rosenallis on a final scoreline of 2-17 to 0-6.

Shaun Fitzpatrick and Brian Whelan knocked in the goals for their side.

Ballyroan Abbey's quarter final opponents have yet to be revealed.

Rosenallis will face O'Dempsey's in the next round of the Senior Football Championship.

Elsewhere around the Laois Senior Football Championship, Killeshin were dominant in a fixture against Ballyfin on Friday.

A strong 4-17 to 0-11 scoreline saw Killeshin leave O'Moore Park with a victory.

St. Joseph's are back in the Laois Senior Football Championship.

A strong victory over Ballylinan will see St. Joseph's progress from the Round Two qualifier.

The final scoreline in Ratheniska was 2-17 to 0-6.

Ballylinan will play Senior B football in Laois after the game.
