Laois SFC: Experience Won't Count If Port Don't Improve - Anthony Cunningham

The three time defending county champions booked their quarter final spot on Saturday.

Portarlington need to get out of the habit of leaning on their experience to win matches, according to their manager Anthony Cunningham.

The former Galway boss saw his side emerge 0-16 to 1-8 winners over Stradbally in Laois Hire O'Moore Park on Saturday.

That result means the three-in-a-row county champions have won through to the quarter-finals and face an extended mid-season break.

Speaking to Pat O'Sullivan, Cunningham starts by evaluating his side's contest with Stradbally:

Meanwhile the draw for the third round of the Senior Football Championship in Laois was made yesterday evening.

Stradbally will face Graiguecullen, Arle-Killeen play Portlaoise, it's Emo against Clonaslee St Manman's and Ballyroan-Abbey take on Courtwood.

Those games take place in two week's time.
