Mark Dowling, James Duggan, and Stephen Bergin scored the goals that sealed the victory for Laois.
Laois made it two wins from two in Division 2A of the Allianz National Hurling League yesterday.
Willie Maher's charges trailed through much of the first half but found their way to victory courtesy of three well timed goals.
Mark Dowling struck first, five minutes in the second period to push Laois in to a four point lead.
Minutes later, James Duggan's goal put Laois in command.
Kildare fought gamely until the contest was put to bed by Stephen Bergin's 73rd minute strike.
The final score in Hawkfield was Kildare 1-20 Laois 3-22.
Laois manager Willie Maher says he's satisfied with the win and elements of the performance.
He and Jack Nolan reviewed the second consecutive league win for the O'Moore County after the game:
Laois will host Carlow in a top of the table clash at Laois Hire O'Moore Park Saturday, February 24th.
