Fennelly's side have hit the back of the net 13 times in three championship outings.
Portlaoise are ready to swim against the tide and play attacking football, according to their manager Aiden Fennelly.
The 35 times champions are into this year's county semi-finals after fifteen point win over the defending champions, St Joseph's.
The final score in O'Moore Park on Saturday was 5-15 to 0-15.
That result means Portlaoise have amassed 13 goals and 51 points in just three championship outings.
Fennelly says the style of the victory gives him joy.
He looks back on an entertaining game with Midlands 103's Pat O'Sullivan:
The competition's other quarter-finals, Portarlington saw off the challenge of Ballyroan on a final scoreline of 1-10 to 1-8.
Graiguecullen beat Killeshin 1-14 to 1-11, and O'Dempsey's had too much for Arles Killeen, despite being reduced to 14 men in the second half - they won by 2-9 to 0-10.
