Spurs came from behind to beat Brighton 2-1 while Carlo Ancelotti's first game in charge of Everton saw the Toffees win 1-0 against Burnley.
Mikel Arteta was also in charge for his first game with Arsenal and they drew 1-1 with Bounemouth.
Tonight champions Manchester City face a tricky away tie at Wolves. Kick-off at 7.45pm.
In Scotland it's Dundee United v Dundee also at a quarter to eight.
