Lowry Makes Early Move In To Contention At Phoenix Open

The 2019 Open Champion fired six birdies on first round yesterday.

Shane Lowry moved himself in to contention at the Phoenix Open on the PGA Tour yesterday.

The Clara man shot an impressive four under par, mixing 6 birdies with 2 bogeys.

Sahith Theegala leads on 6 under. 

Seamus Power is 1 under with 14 holes of his round to go. 

Tom McKibbin tees off his second round at the Qatar Masters from 3 under par - he's three shots behind the current leader Joost Luiten of the Netherlands.

Ireland's Lauren Walsh is the current leader of the Magical Kenya Ladies Open. 

She is 5 under par in round two.
