A RedC poll for Lidl and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association shows 42% are interested in attending - 74% think its a shame people don't attend - but 59% never have.
The survey marks the start of the Lidl National Football League this coming weekend - Laois, Westmeath, and Offaly will start their campaigns the following week.
