Westmeath will secure promotion to Division Two if they beat Sligo in Markievicz Park.
The promotion chase in Division Three of the National Football League remains finely poised heading in to the final round of fixtures this weekend.
Table toppers Westmeath and Down played out a competitive draw in Mullingar on Sunday, while Clare picked up two points after they beat Antrim on Saturday.
One point now separates the three counties vying for two promotion spots.
Clare will travel to Newry to take on Down, and the Lake County bring their unbeaten record to Sligo knowing a win will secure them a place in the league final and in Division Two next year.
Former Westmeath footballer, Alan Mangan says Dessie Dolan will be grateful for one of his more experienced campaigners:
Massive draw today for @westmeath_gaa. Great battling performance. Epitomised by this block by James Dolan. Very few of these in today’s game. Got us the point today. Well done lads 👍
