Midlands athletes enjoyed a strong run of results at Ireland's successful European Athletics Under 23 Championships in Finland.
Ava O'Connor and James Dunne from Tullamore Harriers both competed in the women and men's 3000 Metres Steeplechase,
O'Connor finished her in race in 8th with a time of 10:01.34 picking up her second PB in a space of three days, while James Dunne finished in 10th place.
St Abban’s long jump athlete Ruby Millet finished 11th in the final of the Women's Long Jump, landing with a 6.09m in the final.
And Aaron Keane finished 8th in the final of the 4x400m alongside Andrew Egan, Callum Baird and Jack Raftery.
