Midlands Players In The Thick Of Higher Education Finals

Laois, Westmeath, and Offaly feature in Sigerson, Trench, and Fitzgibbon Cup games this evening.

It's a busy evening for midlands players in the Higher Education competitions.

Killeshin keeper Killian Roche will be in goal for UCD in the Sigerson Cup Final with Johnathan Lynam of the Downs lining up in midfield.

Tullamore's young flier Cormac Egan will be hoping to feature from the bench in the decider against Ulster University.

The action at Austin Stacks Park is set for a 7.30pm throw-in.

While in the Trench Cup Final, Shamrocks keeper Conor Melia should start in between the sticks for MTU Kerry who take on a DKIT side who were beaten by TUS Athlone in the decider last year.

That game has just gotten underway in Ballyduff.

The Fitzgibbon Cup semi-finals sees University Limerick taking on University of Galway at 6.30pm in Doorabarefield.

With SETU Waterford against MIC Limerick in the other semi.

Killian Sampson has been named to start for UL, while Cathal King is set to play for Mary Immaculate College Limerick.
