Laois manager Justin McNulty is declaring "mission one, accomplished" after his side secured promotion to Division 3 of the National Football League.
An emphatic 5-19 to 0-09 defeat of Waterford on Sunday means Laois finished top of Division 4 with six wins from seven.
They will now face Leitrim in the Division 4 Final in Croke Park this Saturday.
Subsequent objectives will likely include beating Offaly in the Leinster Championship, and going deep in the Tailteann Cup.
