The American takes over from the Valeo Futbol Partnership.
After months of speculation, Athlone Town Football Club have a new owner.
American Nick Giannotti is the man who will take charge of the club and will succeed previous US-based company owners Valeo Futbol Partnership after their reign came to an end towards the end of last year.
Giannotti is a co-founder of solar company Redball Energy and served as a Director and minority shareholder of Plymouth Argyle FC in England.
In a statement posted this morning on the club website, new owner Nick Giannotti said that it's a 'privilege' to formally take on the responsibility of leading the club and that they will invest in the club’s infrastructure, players, and staff as well as building financial stability, sustainability, and increase revenue streams.
