Padraig Horan captained Offaly to their first ever All Ireland Hurling title.
A new series documenting the background stories of different figures across the GAA is set to feature a former Offaly captain.
Padraig Horan, who captained the Faithful County to its first ever All Ireland Hurling title in 1981, is one of eight new faces set to be on the newest series of Laochra Gael on TG4.
The St Rynagh's club man won two All Ireland's and four Leinster medals with his county, as well as helping his club to win three Leinster titles.
He was inducted into the GAA Hall of Fame in 2017.
His episode is scheduled to air on February 19th, with the first installment of the new series focusing on retired Monaghan footballer Conor McManus.
