Cian Crampton is pointing to the massive effort made by his support team after his success in Slovakia.
Offaly's Cian Crampton is paying tribute to those who've helped him win a major European Championship medal.
The Edenderry discus thrower broke the national under 18 record on the way to securing bronze at the under 18 championships in Slovakia last weekend.
It follows his bronze medal at the European Olympic Games Festival in Slovenia last year.
Cian's received a huge amount of messages from the members of the club congratulating him on his success.
He says he's grateful to his coach, his parents and in particular, and Edenderry AC stalwarts Frank and Niall Kilrane:
Cian's full interview with Midlands 103 will be aired on Friday evening's Health & Fitness show with David Hollywood, from 7pm.
