Leo O'Connor tells Midlands 103 of his pride after watching Offaly beat Kilkenny in O'Connor Park.
Offaly booked their place in the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship final and the All Ireland semi-final after a classic contest in O'Connor Park last night.
Leo O'Connor's side were dominant in phases of the game but Kilkenny proved stubborn opponents.
It took two superbly taken goals from Shane Rigney, and ten points from the hurl of Adam Screeney to move Offaly into a winning position.
Despite leading by 5 points with 2 minutes left of the clock, the Faithful County needed late points in injury time to survive a late Kilkenny onslaught.
The defending Leinster champions now progress to face Dublin in a provincial decider next Wednesday.
Offaly's manager O'Connor says it's been an emotional journey.
He looks back on a remarkable night with Midlands 103's Joe Troy:
The final score in Tullamore was Offaly 2-17 Kilkenny 2-16.
