Tullamore will contest for the Dowling Cup again on Sunday week.
The winning manager from Sunday's Offaly Senior Football Championship semi-final believes the two best players from both semi-finals ended up on the losing side.
Tullamore's Niall Stack saw his side reach their fourth consecutive county final after they beat Edenderry by the narrowest of margins at Glenisk O'Connor Park on a final scoreline of 1-13 to 1-12.
However, it was Cian Farrell of Edenderry who grabbed the headlines with his performance, scoring seven points, winning and missing a penalty and generally causing Tullamore anxiety in defence through out the day.
On Saturday, Anton Sullivan was lauded for his play in Rhode's losing effort against Ferbane.
Speaking to Midlands 103 Commentator, Brian Gavin, Stack begins by reflecting on the challenge put up by Edenderry:
