Concerns had been raised after it was revealed that the contract allowed for a postponement.
The International Olympic Committee insist that they're "fully committed" to the Tokyo Olympics taking place between July 24th and August 9th.
It follows Japan's Olympic Minister claiming that the Games could be moved to later this year due to concerns about the impact of the coronavirus.
Seiko Hashimoto says their contract with the I-O-C allows for a postponement - as long as they're rescheduled before the end of 2020.
The I-O-C have urged athletes continuing preparing for the games taking place in the summer.
