The Olympic flame has arrived in Japan, despite concerns about whether the games will go ahead.

Organisers of Toyko 2020 have asked the public to stay away from the torch relay due to coronavirus.

The event is due to start on the 24th of July, and expected to last for two weeks. 

The chief of the International Olympic Committee says it's too early to make a decision regarding the hosting of the Summer Games.

Thomas Bach says the cancellation is not on the agenda, but does acknowledge the organisation are considering different scenarios in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
