The Laois club's quarter final contest takes place in Portlaoise on Saturday evening.
Portlaoise Panthers are facing in to their "biggest game" as they continue to fight for promotion to the Super League.
The Laois outfit were the long time standard setters in the National League First Division until finishing their regular season campaign with a brace of defeats.
Their first step in the promotion play-offs comes at home to Limerick Sport Eagles.
Jack Scully's side were four point winners when the two sides met at Mary's Hall in November.
Tip off at the same venue is set for 7.30pm on Saturday evening.
