Portarlington are back in a county final after beating Graiguecullen in Portlaoise on Sunday.
Portarlington manager Pat Roe is paying tribute to his players after seeing his side deliver an emphatic performance in the Laois Senior Football Championship semi-finals yesterday.
Port booked their place in this year's county final thanks to a 3-10 to 0-11 victory over Graiguecullen in O'Moore Park.
Roe's players trailed Graigue by a point at the break but managed to turn the game in their favour with a strong third quarter that saw them keep their opposition scoreless for 17 minutes.
The three in a row champions of 2021, 22, and 23 were helped along their way by Colm Murphy who came off the bench after returning from Australia.
Roe says it's a big boost to have a player like him to call on, along with the likes of Daragh Slevin:
He caught up with Midlands 103's Pat O'Sullivan after the game:
The other semi-final saw Portlaoise claiming a four point victory over O'Dempsey's.
That finished 2-12 to 1-11.
