Portarlington Ready For The "Kitchen Sink"

Pat O'Sullivan looks forward to a meeting between the champions of Laois and Carlow.

Still stung by their departure from the Leinster championship at the hands of Kilmacud Crokes last season, Portarlington are driven to make it to a provincial final this year.

That's the opinion of Midlands 103 commentator Pat O'Sullivan ahead of Port's Senior Leinster quarter final against Palatine this weekend.

Martin Murphy's side were impressive in beating O'Dempseys in the county final, they were then met with defensive opposition in their first provincial outing against Castletown of Wexford.

Pat O'Sullivan says Portarlington will be motivated but the Carlow Champions will provide an exacting test:
