The Open Champion will also play the US Open the previous week.
Shane Lowry says he intends to play at next month’s rearranged Dubai Duty Free Irish Open.
The tournament’s been moved to Galgorm Castle in Antrim, and will begin on September 27th.
Lowry says his plan is to play the US Open at Winged Foot the week prior, and then flying home.
He finished in a T-23 on 12 under par at the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina.
Rounds of 68,63,70 and 67 allowed the Open champion to record his best finish on the PGA Tour since the resumption of golf.
It was the second weekend in succession that Lowry fell back from the leaders on Saturday before putting together another strong round on the final day of play.
Waterford's Seamus Power finished one shot further back on 11 under for a tie for 27th.
American Jim Herman shot a final round 63 to win the tournament on 21 under par, one ahead of Billy Horschel.
