Both clubs came through their respective championship semi-finals on Sunday.
Portlaoise and St Conleth's meet each other in the Laois Ladies Senior Football Championship Final in a repeat of last year's decider.
The defending champions were too strong from Timahoe, running out 1-12 to 1-7 winners in Emo on Sunday.
While St Conleth's were tested to the end against Sarsfields at the same venue that evening.
Despite leading by six at the break, Conleth's had to withstand a sustained fightback to emerge from their semi-final tie with a two point victory.
It finished 3-9 to 2-10 to St Conleth's.
The championship final takes place on Saturday September at 6pm.
