Jordan Conroy and his team mates were in impressive form in Germany over the weekend.
Tullamore's Jordan Conroy was part of the Ireland Sevens side who won the Hamburg leg of the European Rugby Sevens Championship on Sunday.
Ireland won all three of their pool games to book a last-eight spot against Belgium.
After a 36-7 victory in that contest, Portugal were beaten 14-12 in the semi-final before James Topping's side then met France in the decider in Germany.
A penalty try, and scores from Matt McDonald and Hugo Keenan sealed a 19-14 victory.
