Westmeath And Offaly Suffer Championship Ending Defeats

The draw for the All-Ireland Football Championship was made this morning.

Westmeath's championship adventure came to an end in Clones yesterday after a six point loss away to Monaghan.

The final score in round three of the All Ireland Senior Football Championship was 1-28 to 2-19.

The draw has been made for the All Ireland Senior Championship Quarter-Finals.

Cork will face Mayo, Tyrone will square off against defending champions Kerry,

Louth will take on Monaghan, while Dublin will face Galway.

Dubs boss Ger Brennan admits it's been a difficult task to mix the county's new blood with their experienced heads.

Josh Bannon's introduction of the bench marked a ninth championship debut for Dublin this season, as they defeated Donegal in extra time.

Brennan says he's been impressed by the newcomers:

In the All Ireland Hurling Quarter Finals, Offaly were well beaten by Cork in Thurles 6-25 to 2-11.

While on Saturday the Faithful footballers were beaten in the Tailteann Cup semi-final against Wicklow.
