Two Westmeath rowers have been selected to compete at the 2021 World Junior Championships.
Donagh Claffey is part of the Junior Men's fours alongside Ronan Gibbon, Fergus Bryce and David Foley.

The 2021 World Rowing Junior Championships will take place from the 11th to the 15th of August in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Rowing Ireland’s Chief Executive Officer, Michelle Carpenter said,
“I would like to congratulate our young athletes on being selected for the Coupe de la Jeuness and the World Rowing Junior Championships.
These are such important pathway events that currently eight of our Olympic athletes that are competing over the next couple of days, took part in.
I hope that they enjoy this really significant journey on the first step of their pathway in international rowing.”
