Westmeath Take Down Dublin In Leinster Minor Football Championship

It's now two wins from two for Mick Dillon's side.

Westmeath made it back to wins in the Leinster Minor Football Championship last night.

Mick Dillon’s side were four point winners over Dublin, with the game ending 1-16 to 1-12.

Dean Kelly impressed for the Lake county with one goal and two points, while Stephen McWade also shined with 0-5.

Victory means it’s two wins from two for the season following victory over Longford last week.

Westmeath now face Offaly in round three in two weeks time.
