Westmeath's Jessica Hennessy helped Bournemouth to secure silverware last weekend.

The former Athlone Town defender played a key role as her side defeated Plymouth one nil at Loftus Road in the final of the FA Women's National League Cup.

She started at centre back and was named the Player of the Match for her performance.

In local news, Athlone Town have confirmed that Oisin Hand will miss the rest of the season through injury.

He suffered a serious injury in the defeat away to Treaty United, as he tore his ACL, MCL and LCL during the early stages of the game.
