Ciara Rossiter named Women's National League Player of the Month after Wexford Youths top league.
Ciara Rossiter has been named SSE Airtricity Women’s National League Player of the Month for August / September 2022.
The Wexford Youths left-back has played a key role in Stephen Quinn’s side jumping top of the table as they target a first league title since 2018.
Rossiter was selected for the award ahead of Athlone Town defender Jessica Hennessy and Peamount United midfielder Sadhbh Doyle.
Athlone can move to within three points of Wexford, who they knocked out of the FAI Cup last weekend, when they meet this Saturday afternoon.
