It recognises volunteers who made a contribution during the pandemic.
A Volunteer Ireland nomination web portal has been launched.
It aims to recognise volunteers who made a contribution during the pandemic.
It will accept nominations from relevant organisations before the closing date of April 13th.
According to Minister of State Joe O'Brien, selected volunteers will then be invited to attend events in their county during national volunteer week.
The events will help highlight the value and contribution of volunteers to Irish society.
