During a meeting with councillors yesterday afternoon, the Department of Justice disclosed that the contract to house 168 asylum seekers is for four years.
It was also revealed that no contact had been made with the HSE or the Department of Education prior to signing of the documents last Tuesday.

Service providers Bridgestock Care told reps that 12 staff have been hired for the facility, with a further eight positions expected to be filled.
