A 13 year old boy has died after a crash in Westmeath overnight.
The single vehicle collision occurred in the Lisclougher Great area of Delvin at approximately 2.15 this morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to the Mortuary at the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar.
Another teenage boy was injured, and is understood to be in a critical condition at Mullingar Hospital.
Three other male occupants of the car, all aged in their teens, received non life threatening injuries.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
