17 Midlands Communities Benefit From Second Round Of Funding

€500,000 will be injected into the region from the town and village renewal scheme.

17 communities in the midlands are set to benefit from almost 500,000 euro in funding.

It's coming from Round Two of the government's Town and Village Renewal Scheme.

The focus of the grant is to help areas adapt to social distancing requirements and provide safe environments to shop and socialise.

Offaly and Westmeath will receive 180,000 euro each, with just short of 110,000 euro going to Laois.
