Up to 2,000 Home Owners have already secured the first home scheme loan.
75 percent of approvals under the First Home Scheme have come from only 5 counties.
Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow and Cork hold the highest proportion while the rest of the country, including the midlands, share the final quarter of approvals granted.
In total, 4 thousand 850 buyers have been approved over the initial two years of the scheme.
