A new 50 bed nursing home facility in Westmeath is moving a step closer.
A community nursing unit in Clonbrusk Athlone is expected to complete its snagging stage by December 5th.
After that, residents are expected to move in by June.
The development is part of a 530 bed national public-private partnership aimed at delivering beds in Tipperary, Louth, Cork, and Kerry.
