A 75-year-old woman and her son have jumped out of a plane in a bid to raise money for Gaza.
Nenagh's Mary McDonnell, and her son Mike, completed the 13,000 foot jump in Clonbollogue, Offaly yesterday.
They done so in aid of Medical Aid for Palestinians and Palestine Children's Relief Fund, two organisations based in Gaza.
The pair, who are both founding members of the Nenagh Friends of Palestine group, have raised just over €28,000 so far, smashing their target of €10,000.
